Supplies Needed:
Barbie Princess Cake Decorating Kit
Two 4 inch round cakes

Icing tips needed:
#2, #4 and #104

Icing colors needed:
Deep Pink, Ribbon Pink, Burgundy, White and Violet

CAKE CARVING DIRECTIONS:br /> Carve two 4 inch cakes in order to make a dress shaped cake. Place Barbie into the top of the cake and use your favorite flavored frosting to pipe on her dress.

DECORATING DIRECTIONS:

To create ruffle color, mix Deep Pink and Ribbon Pink with a hint of Violet.
Ice cake mixed ruffle color, White and two drops of Burgundy. Smooth.
Place Barbie decoration on cake.
Using tip #104, pipe mixed Deep Pink and Ribbon Pink with a hint of Violet band around base of cake. Also pipe ruffle above band on base of cake.
Using tip 4, pipe White ball border around top of cake as shown.
Using tip 4, pipe Violet ribbon around Barbie's waist.
Using tip 2, pipe White and light mixed Deep Pink and Ribbon Pink with a hint of Violet swirls as shown.
Using tip 2, pipe Violet and mixed Deep Pink and Ribbon Pink with a hint of Violet dots.
Using tip #2, pipe light mixed Deep Pink and Ribbon Pink with a hint of Violet miniature tulips as shown.

Barbie Perennial Princess Signature Cake Cutting Instructions:

1. Using a knife, cut two 4" layers from sheet cake.

2. Trim around the top layer as shown.

Barbie Perennial Princess Step-By-Step Assembly and Decorating Instructions:

1. Place icing between the cake layers and stack cake layers as shown. Trim top layer to taper and form a bell shaped bottom.

2. Ice cake with mixed Ribbon Pink with a hint of Violet. Use a section of poly collar to smooth the icing. Place cake kit item on cake at this time.

3. Using tip #104, pipe mixed Ribbon Pink with a hint of Violet band around base of cake. Also pipe ruffle above band on base of cake.

4. Using tip #4, pipe White ball border around top of cake as shown.

5. Using tip #4, pipe Violet ribbon around barbie (see product image).

6. Using tip #2, pipe White and Ribbon Pink with a hint of violet swirls as shown.

7. Using tip #2, pipe Violet and mixed Deep Pink and Ribbon Pink with a hint of Violet #9510 dots.

8. Using tip #2, pipe light mixed Ribbon Pink with a hint of Violet mini tulips as shown.
