Blossom Bag Cake Decorating Instructions Supplies needed: Girls Stylin Purse Cake Pan One box of cake mix Crafting Knife 38 ounces of Ready to Use white rolled fondant 2 1/2 Cups of butter cream icing Cornstarch Icing Tips needed: #3, #12, #16, #21 Icing Colors needed: Rose, Leaf Green, Lemon Yellow, Violet, White DECORATING DIRECTIONS We suggest that you tint all icing at one time while cake cools. Refrigerate tinted icing in covered containers until ready to use. Divide fondant: Tint 12 oz. green; reserve 2 ounces and tint dark green Tint 8 oz. rose. Tint 4 oz. violet. Tint 2 oz. yellow. Reserve 12 oz. white. Ice sides and background areas smooth with white icing. Roll out green fondant 1/8 inches thick. Cut to fit iced cake top. Toll out violet fondant 1/8 inches thick. Cut out letters using craft knife. Position on top of cake. Roll 3/4 inch diameter balls using rose fondant . Position on cake top for handle. Roll out rose fondant 1/16 inches thick and cut flowers using craft knife. Roll 1/8 inch diameter balls using yellow fondant and position in flower centers. Position flowers on cake top. Form dark green fondant into leaf shapes. Position on cake top. Roll 1/2 inch diameter white fondant balls and position at bottom border. Use tip 16 and rose icing to fill in purse with stars. USe tip 3 and violet/rose combination icing to make ball flower center. Use tip 21 and violet/rose combination icing to pipe dots for purse handle. Use tip 21 to pipe shell bottom border. Use tip 5 and rose icing to outline and pipe in medallion on flap. Use tip 5 and dark violet icing to pipe balls at center and edge of medallion. Use tip 3 and dark violet icing to outline handle. Use tip 3 and dark violet icing to add zigzags between stripes.
