1. Start by removing the 1/2 cupcakes serve as one pieces - 1 pieces.

2. Next cut down the length of the nose through both layers. Cut both layers into four equal pieces widthwise. Serve both layers as individual servings - 8 pieces.

3. Cut the train cab lengthwise into three equal slices through both layers. Cut both layers widthwise into four equal pieces. Serve both layers as individual servings - 12 pieces.

4. The final step is to cut the base. Cut the notched front widthwise and serve as one piece. Then cut the base lengthwise down the center, and widthwise in six equal pieces - 12 pieces.

• Cut train pieces to the dimensions shown (Figure A). Pre-assemble cake layers, trim pieces as needed (Figure B).

• Remove train pieces and set aside. Ice train base Gray (Black and White).

• Ice train pieces Royal Blue, then place on train base.

• Cut a cupcake in half for each side of train (Part D). Place on cake and ice Royal Blue.

• Decorate cake as described on Decorating Card.

1. Cut train pieces from 1/2 sheet cake and preassemble cake layers. Trim cake pieces as needed.

2. Remove train pieces and ice the base of the train Gray (Black and White).

3. Ice train pieces Royal Blue and then place on train base.

4. Cut a cupcake in half. Place on cake and ice Royal Blue.

5. Using rip #1D, pipe Black around the nose of the trainch

6. Using tip #2B, pipe Super Red around top edge of train base.

7. Using tip #8, pipe Super Red border on top and bottom of Super Red band.

8. Using tip #5, pipe Super Red detail around trainch

9. Using rip #8, pipe Royal Blue around train to cover the places where the cake is pieced together.

10. Using tip #10, pipe Black dots on front and back of trainch

11. Using tip #10, pipe Black around bottom of train base.

12. Place cake kit items on cake as shown.
