GAME DESCRIPTIONS: The Big No-No: You will need either safety or clothes pins for this game. Give each guest a pin to wear. Any guest who catches someone saying the word "baby" gets to take their pin and any extras they have collected. At the end of the party, or a set end time, the guest with the most pins wins! Baby Faces: Ask each guest to bring a picture of themselves as a baby to the party. Display the photos on a wall along with the mom to be's baby photograph. Put a number next to each photo, then have your guests inspect the photographs, and write down who they think each belongs to. When everybody has completed their guesses, announce the answers. The guest with the most correct answers wins! Toilet Paper Diaper: You will need two rolls of toilet paper and a roll of tape for this game. Divide your guests into 3 or 4 groups. Ask the mom to be and hostess to wait in another room. Each team will then choose a member to play the "baby", and outfit her is a toilet paper diaper. After about 15 minch, the mom to be and hostess will return to the room. The "toilet paper babies" will then model their diapers, and the mom to be will choose her favorite. The team whose diaper is selected wins! Limerick/Poem Contest: Give each guest a pen and a sheet of paper. Your guests will have 10 minch to come up with a limerick or poem about the mom to be. When the time runs out, the mom to be will read each one, then award the "Most Silly", "Most Creative", etc. with a prize! The Memory Game: The hostess will place a bunch of purchased baby items, like baby booties, diaper pins, etc., on a tray. Give each guest a pen and sheet of paper, then allow them to look at the tray for 1 minch, so they can make a mental note of the items. When the hostess takes the tray away, each guest will write down as many items as they can remember. The guest with the most correct answers wins. At the end of the game, give the tray full of baby goodies to the mom to be. How Well Do You Know the Mom to Be?: This game will require a little pre-planning. The hostess will need to ask the mom to be a series of questions about her hobbies, likes/dislikes, and even a few personal questions like shoe size or favorite food. Then the hostess will type up the questions in either a multiple choice or fill in the blank format. At the shower, give each guest a copy of the questions and a pen. They will have 10 minch to answer the questions. When the time is up, the hostess will read the answers to the group. The guest with the most correct answers wins! Pass the String: You will need a pair of scissors and a ball of string. Each guest will cut a piece of string that they think will exactly measure the tummy of the mom to be. The guest who gets the closest guess wins! Get the Picture: You will need the Get the Picture - Game Clues page from the game book, a large pad of paper, markers, and a paper bag. Have someone cut the game clues out, fold, and place in the paper bag. Split your guests into two teams. Have a member from team 1 choose a game clue from the bag. She will have 60 sec. to help her team guess the word she has chosen, by drawing a picture. Remember, letters and numbers are not allowed. If her team guesses correctly they get 1 point. If they cannot guess the answer, team 2 will get a chance to guess. The game will then alternate back and forth until all the clues are gone. At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins! Nursery Rhyme Riddles: Make a copy of the Nursery Rhyme Riddles page from the game book for each of your guests. Your guests will have 5 minch to answer the 24 questions related to nursery rhymes. The guest with the most correct answers at the end of the game wins! Baby Bingo: You will need the 12 Baby Bingo sheets from the game book, a paper bag, and enough pens for each guest. Cut the game clues up, fold, and place in the paper bag. The caller will choose a clue from the bag, and call it out to the group. The guest who gets 5 in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally wins!
